“To a greater extent than any time since the Renaissance,” wrote the historian Roger Shattuck of Paris at the turn of the 20th century, “painters, writers, and musicians lived and worked together and tried their hands at each other’s arts in an atmosphere of perpetual collaboration.” Perhaps Zoom will be the meeting place for this century’s Renaissance.

The Reluctant Rewriter

Does rewriting SUCK? Maybe you have yet to learn the tricks and techniques of self-editing. But rewriting/editing is key to becoming a published writer.  Deep down we know this or we wouldn’t be sticking our writing in a drawer.

These days, you can’t rely on a publisher to edit your work. A free-lance editor is expensive (and may not work with you unless you have a completed book-length manuscript.)

THIS is where the small group format works well. With Rusti as your coach and a supportive peer group as your extra set of eyes, the revision process (as frustrating as it can be) becomes a juicy, motivating part of your creative writing process.

Forever Grateful

I will be forever grateful to Kelly for the classes which made my book possible. She helped me to wander, to get lost, to take myself by surprise.

Laser-Focused Support

Kelly’s one-on-one coaching is the most valuable service she provides. She has a laser focus. In her sessions, she sees what’s missing and what steps need to be taken. There’s something so loving about the nurturing space she holds for doing the work. Instead of pushing people beyond what they can handle, she sees beyond their doubts and limitations to what’s possible — until they see what’s possible too. She supports people in coming to their own decisions as they take action to create new outcomes.

Perceptive and Compassionate

Brilliantly perceptive and compassionate, Kelly helped me see how my experiences while writing the Route 66 books would make a great memoir. We shaped them into a speech I gave at the Gene Autry museum and the talk was a huge success. She turns writing into an adventure.
